A transport chair is the answer when someone else always does the pushing, and the Medline Ultralight is the one that makes that job easiest. The aluminum frame is light enough to lift into a trunk one-handed, it folds compact with a folding backrest, and it rides on flat-free tires so there is no upkeep. For appointments, airports, theme parks, and the long-walk situations that wear a person out, it is purpose-built.

The trade-off is inherent to the category: the small rear wheels mean it cannot be self-propelled, so the user is dependent on an attendant. The seat is also firmer than a full wheelchair's. If the user needs to move themselves even some of the time, choose a self-propel chair instead. But for caregiver-pushed travel and errands, nothing here is easier to live with.

Bottom line: The most portable chair here. Ultralight, folds small, zero tire upkeep, as long as someone else pushes.
